AI Tinkerers Nashville – Software Development in the Age of AI
Software Development in the Age of AI
In 2022, GitHub launched Copilot and amazed the world with AI code completions. But WOW, have we ever moved beyond that? Models have advanced, agentic coding frameworks have emerged, and every day we seem to get a new and spectacular capability. This March 25, it’s time to showcase our new software development capabilities whether it be vibe-coding, spec-driven development, or shouting your commands over the phone to an OpenClaw assistant, we want to hear about it!

We will meet on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Attendance is selective by design, limited to active practitioners. RSVP now to secure your spot, as capacity is capped at 50 AI builders.
🎤 Submit Your Demo Proposal
We are looking for technical demos that “pop the hood” on AI-forward software development. No sales pitches – just a walkthrough of your coding practice, some quick glances at your tooling, and if you’d like, a couple of slides to help us understand your pattern. Remember, demos are fast paced! Each demo is 10-12 minutes.
Submit your proposal here: https://nashville.aitinkerers.org/meetup/mu_X9lMe5c-asQ/speaking
We are hoping to showcase a wide array of strategies and techniques. Here are just some possibilities:
- Vibe Coding & Spec-Driven Development: Moving from high-level intent to functional codebases.
- MCP and Skills Integrations: Integrating agents with external tools, abilities, and resources.
- Agentic Orchestration: Interacting with agents while retaining visibility into how the code works.
- Large, Pre-existing Codebases: Working with existing, complex codebases and rapid prototyping.
- Team Collaboration: How teams work together with AI, handle pull request reviews, and avoid “stepping on toes” now since so much more work gets done.
- Design, Data Science, and more: We usually think of general software, but agentic coding practices can be applied to fields like UI/UX design, algorithm design (maybe?), data science, etc. How are you using it?
