AI Tinkerers is a global community of active engineers, researchers, and developers who are building foundation models and generative AI applications. We prioritize technical depth, working code, and the Homebrew Computer Club ethos: demos first, code walkthroughs, and zero fluff.
We are convening on Thursday, July 21th, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vaco. Attendance is strictly limited to active practitioners who can discuss their stack, agentic workflows, or context-engineering setups. Because our events are highly popular and space is limited, registrations are manually screened to maintain a high-signal environment.
🎤 Submit Your Demo Proposal
This month, our focus is on AI Products—specifically, how to build functional, production-ready products where AI is a core architectural element. We want to see how you are moving past basic chat interfaces to build things that actually work under the hood.
We are looking for technical show-and-tell sessions that answer: “How did you build this interesting thing?” not “Why should someone use this product?”
Submit Your Demo Proposal Here
Some technical areas we want to explore include:
- Advanced Chatbots & Interactive Avatars: Real-time rendering, low-latency audio pipelines, and state management for natural interactive loops.
- Custom Data Extraction Pipelines: Orchestrating LLMs to parse unstructured, messy data into reliable, validated JSON schemas.
- New Ways of Navigating the Web: Agentic browser control, DOM parsing, and building robust scrapers that handle dynamic web environments.
- Agentic Orchestration: Managing multi-agent coordination, handling state, and building recovery loops when agents fail.
🕕 Event Schedule
- 5:00 PM: Doors Open & Builder Networking
- 5:30 PM: Live Technical Demos and Q&A
- 7:00 PM: Networking & Science Fair
- 8:00 PM: Wrap-up
🔬 The Science Fair
During our networking block, we host a decentralized Science Fair. This is an informal venue for hands-on technical exploration. If you have a side project, an experimental build, or a fragile prototype that isn’t ready for the main stage, you can set up a station to walk peers through your code and get direct feedback.
🫵 Who is this for?
This is a high-trust room for candid technical exchange. Registration requires screening based on demonstrable technical work, GitHub links, and active project details. This event is for those building the future of AI—not for recruiters, general marketers, or consultants.
