Master's in CS at Vanderbilt University
Ling Python, Cline, Chatgpt, json Created a script that Checks for fuzzy domain permutations and their validity using the dnstwist library. probes each with cURL, aggregates 200-OK results, persists user feedback, and computes a domain-level verdict, Bridge script to read domain pairs from the DB, run decide_impersonation, and update the DB with the verdict
My name is Lingxin(Ling) Chen. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Vanderbilt University, where I focus on software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data-driven systems. Before graduate school, I worked for three years as a Software Engineer at SIL Global, contributing to major releases of Paratext, a widely used application in the Bible translation community. My professional experience includes full-stack development, cloud deployment, and agile collaboration.
I am interested in AI, machine learning, software engineering, and cloud computing, particularly in building scalable, data-driven applications. I hope to connect with collaborators working on AI for software development, web/cloud systems, and interdisciplinary applications.
I worked on customizing and maintaining a Question2Answer (Q2A) platform for a QA website. This involves integrating plugins, migrating user data, and deploying the system with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS RDS to ensure scalability and reliability.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience building secure, scalable platforms across cybersecurity and cloud. At Phosphorus Cybersecurity, I’ve led integrations with Microsoft Sentinel, ServiceNow, Infoblox, Bluecat, and Qualys, along with architecting reporting, SMTP, and DDI services. Previously at Sur La Table, I built AWS-native services with Python, Django, FastAPI, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. I’m passionate about creating enterprise-grade security products that combine deep technical architecture with user-focused reliability.
I’m deeply interested in cybersecurity, AI, and blockchain threat detection. My current focus is on building enterprise-grade systems that combine machine learning, multi-LLM orchestration, and real-time anomaly detection for crypto ecosystems. I’m also interested in compliance automation, large-scale integrations (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar), and collaborating with others at the intersection of AI, security, and finance.
Currently building BlockIntel AI – an AI-powered blockchain threat detection platform.

Chris Songer RSVP Approved

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Twelve Labs Inc
Songer Vocal Leader, Provided consistent support and guidance to the systems and effectively delegated which function each person would be working on and helped them to fulfill it along the way. But NO he was not just yapping, he committed 22 times, supported over a dozen other commits and provided comical relief
As a passionate platform engineer and SRE professional, I excel at delivering scalability and reliability to complex systems. My expertise lies in utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP to build robust and secure cloud infrastructure. I have a deep understanding of CI/CD automation and hands-on experience using tools such as Docker and GitHub Actions.
- MLOps - Automation control with MCP. - Build self-healing infrastructure. - Use AI to build great products and also make it less hype and more practical. - Scaling GPU workloads.
Moving away from Kubernetes for everything and looking to use tools like Nomad + Vault. I love to tinker with IRL applications that benefit the user outside of the computer.
